Guide

What goes on a letterhead

  • Logo and organisation name, with a short tagline if you have one.
  • Address, phone and email in the header or footer.
  • Website and trade licence or BIN in the footer — banks and government offices often look for them.

Letter format

A formal Bangladeshi business letter usually has: reference number and date, the recipient's designation and address ("To"), a one-line subject, the salutation, the body in short paragraphs, and the signature with name and designation.

Printing pads

  • Choose Blank pad and print on 100 gsm offset paper for a premium feel.
  • For many copies, save as PDF and take it to a press — colour printing is cheaper in bulk.
  • Keep the design light: dark backgrounds use a lot of ink and make photocopies messy.

Your organisation details are shared with the invoice, quotation and HR letter tools on this site, so everything you print looks the same.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I print the letterhead without a letter?
Yes. Choose Blank pad to print empty letterhead sheets to write on later.
What if my letter is longer than one page?
Long letters continue onto the next page; for multi-page letters print blank pads for the first page and plain paper for the rest, or keep it to one page.
Can I add a watermark?
Yes — tick the watermark option to print your logo faintly in the centre of the page.
Can I write the letter in Bangla?
Yes. Type in Bangla; on the Bangla page dates and numbers are printed in Bangla digits.
